1. Memorize one of the following passages (approx.15-20 lines). Each student should memorize a different passage—see me for the master list or exceptions. You recite and analyze that passage to the class. Some of the line numbers below are a spectrum of lines, so you must choose 15-20 lines among that range. Some passages have other dialogue in them, so you may skip the dialogue to focus on the main speaker.
2. Present an explication (line by line analysis similar to DIDILSTOP and analysis (how this passage relates to other themes/ideas/characters of the play) of your passage—poetic and thematic analysis.
3. You must turn-in a formal outline of your explication and analysis for your presentation. Post this on the class wiki.
4. You may not use Cliff or Sparknotes as a substitution for your own commentary and/or explication.
